Our Dental Assisting Program will help you gain the knowledge and skills that are required to become a valued dental assistant. The program is designed to give you maximum "hands-on" training and experience in an actual working office. You will be taught the most up-to-date techniques, using the very best technology available. The teaching is stimulating, fast paced, and relies heavily on individual participation. Each class is no larger than ten students, insuring personal attention and a worthwhile learning experience. You will not have time to be bored!

After completing the 10 week dental assisting program you will be capable of preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during procedures, charting patient treatment, sterilizing instruments, providing oral hygiene instructions, preparing dental filling materials, taking impressions and much more. You will be ready to step right into your new career!

Our students will become familiar with laboratory duties such as pouring up plaster casts of teeth, cleaning and polishing removable appliances and making temporary crowns. We will cover front office duties such as scheduling and confirming appointments, receiving patients, keeping treatment records, sending bills, receiving payments, and ordering dental supplies.

That's all it takes! Take ten classes in ten weeks and you'll be ready to be hired as a dental assistant. And, according to a report released in March of 2008, dental assistants in the Orange County area earn $15-20 per hour.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to Change Your Life. Start your career as a Dental Assistant and join fellow health care professionals in the exciting, challenging, ever changing field of dentistry.

Career Outlook
The job prospects for dental assistants are excellent. The Department of Labor considers the dental assistant to be one of the fastest growing professions for the next 10 years. As older dentists continue to leave the field, fewer dentists are left to fill in the gaps. Dental assistants will be relied upon more and more to perform day-to-day activities. Demand for dental assistants has been steadily increasing and is expected to grow over the next 10 years. But don't take our word for it - check out this recent posting on the Career Blog at the Orange County Register.
